What the WinYatra Android app does with your data, in plain terms — and where it hands off to the website you're actually visiting.
The WinYatra app is a lightweight viewer for winyatra.com. It doesn't run a separate backend, doesn't bundle analytics or advertising SDKs, and doesn't build its own user profiles. Almost everything you do inside the app happens on the website itself, so most of this policy is about drawing that line clearly: what the app touches, versus what the site you're browsing touches.
The app's own code (outside of what the website loads) processes only what's needed to display pages and keep the app usable:
Anything you type into winyatra.com — account registration, contact forms, bookings, payment details on a payment page — is handled by winyatra.com's own systems under its own policies, exactly as it would be if you visited the site in Chrome or Safari. This app does not intercept, read, or store that information separately.
The app asks Android for a small, specific set of permissions:

The app does not request access to your contacts, location, camera, microphone, or SMS.
Like a browser, the app's in-app browser component stores cookies and local storage set by winyatra.com — for example, to keep you signed in between visits. This data stays on your device and is governed by the website's own cookie practices. You can clear it at any time from Android Settings → Apps → WinYatra → Storage → Clear data.
We do not sell, rent, or share any data with third parties from the app itself, because the app does not collect any. If winyatra.com integrates third-party services (such as payment processors or login providers), those exchanges happen directly between your device's browser session and that third party, under their respective privacy policies.
The app only loads pages over HTTPS and blocks plain-text (cleartext) connections outright. It also refuses to proceed past invalid or untrusted TLS certificates rather than silently continuing.
WinYatra is a general-audience travel/software services app and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app.
If this policy changes, we'll update the "Effective" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the revised policy.
